They say you get nothing for free these days but this week’s Brighton Chamber of Commerce ‘Ride The Wave’ event proved otherwise. Part of a series of free events to support and promote new business in Brighton, this one focused on food and drink start-ups, particularly on how to use PR, social media, marketing and investment to stand out from the crowd.

Chaired by Paula Seager of Natural PR and with excellent talks from Nigel Lambe of Velo Cafe/Small Batch Coffee, Helen Wilkinson of Metrodeco Tea Rooms and John Carmichael of Visit Brighton, there was plenty of discussion and collaboration (some of it happening live in the room with new vegan product ‘Clump’ literally pitching to Kemp Town whole food store Seed & Sprout) for us small fish to make plans to become big foodie fish!

Judging by the number, range and enthusiasm of the attendees, the future of B&H food and drink looks very bright indeed. And Cin Cin intends to be a key part of that foodie future so keep following and watch us grow!
