Award-winning Italian bar and kitchen, Cin Cin, to open in Fitzrovia this May Acclaimed neighbourhood Italian restaurant group Cin Cin is set to bring its award-winning seasonal Italian food to Fitzrovia, with a brand-new site opening on Foley Street on 18th May.

Cin Cin Bar & Kitchen Fitzrovia will be the third restaurant from the Cin Cin team, and the first in London. With a seasonal menu of inventive Italian dishes and drinks, relaxed and stylish 20-seat dining room, and bright and buzzy south-facing terrace, it promises to become a top spot for central London socialising this summer.

Diners can expect the likes of roasted garlic and Lardo di Colonnata flatbread, creamy burrata with grilled baby leeks, toasted almond and preserved lemon, and crab arancino with warm basil emulsion to start, while main courses include delicate involtini of brill with spring cabbage and brown butter, handmade farfalle with peas, mortadella and Tropea onion, and rich and indulgent ravioli of truffled potato with asparagus and confit yolk. Desserts such as velvety date ice cream affogato with Tosolini liqueur, and luscious rhubarb zuppa Inglese, will round things off on a high.

Drinks-wise, there will be a wide range of carefully chosen Italian wines, as well as beers, amaro digestivi, and a selection of aperitivi featuring five signature serves. The Cin Cin Negroni – Campari,Regal Rogue Bold red vermouth, Malfy gin, and rhubarb bitters – is a must-order for those who like afresh twist on a classic. Founded by ex-lawyer David Toscano with head chef Jamie Halsall – previously of Launceston Place and Roux Parliament Square – Cin Cin first opened its doors in Brighton’s North Laine in 2016, winning a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2018. A second site followed in Hove in 2018, and was awarded an AA Rosette in 2020.

The team is excited to bring the brand to Fitzrovia and become a local go-to for fantastic food, great drinks, and good times.

On the new restaurant, Toscano comments: “Our Fitzrovia site will be a small and intimate neighbourhood restaurant with a terrace that’s perfect for al fresco dining. Jamie has already written an amazing opening menu that will build on the Cin Cin classics our customers have come to know and love, as well as some new dishes.”
