Cin Cin Hove opens with a special press & blogger evening
We did it! After months of hard work, we officially opened the doors of our brand new second restaurant in Western Road, Hove on January 18th.
The night before opening we welcomed local press and some of the biggest names in the Brighton food blogging scene for a special invite only event.
Around 40 invitees were treated to sample dishes from the brand new menu on offer at our new Western Road restaurant.
Keeping it casual and conversational, guests were free to move around and chat to their industry peers while enjoying dishes laid out for communal dining. The flurry of camera flashes from all angles when each dish arrived was a sight to behold!
Kicking off with sharing antipasti boards of our finest Italian meats and cheeses, we then kicked treated guests to our small plates, including Stracciatella & sardine crostini with pickled red onion and Nduja & polenta crochettes with parsley mayonnaise.
Next up was a selection of our handmade pasta dishes including our eye-catching Leek scarpinocc with truffle potato and rosemary, and our take on Spaghetti carbonara with smoked eel and confit egg yolk which received rave reviews across the board.
One of the key features of Western Road is our charcoal robata style grill, and this was put to good use to serve up the next round of meaty dishes that included lamb cutlets and Sussex pork.
Our new desserts topped off a wonderful evening. Our Birra-misu, which is made with an espresso stout had bloggers intrigued, while the warm chocolate mousse with beetroot ice cream sent the choccy-lovers home happy.
