It was a proud moment when we launched our first pop up Supper Club at the Velo Cafe last September and it was a big step forward in what we are trying to achieve with Cin Cin. So to have made it to THREE pop ups this week and to sell out all of them has left me grinning from ear to ear.
When we started the pop up events, we had a very simple but important aim in mind – to give Brighton the authentic Italian food and drink it deserves.
To do that, we’ve created menus with our very accomplished chef Jamie Halsall focusing on seasonal ingredients for our dishes so that you get to taste them at the height of their flavour. Ingredients like guinea fowl and damsons in autumn, pomegranates and panettone in winter and jerusalem artichokes and black truffles in spring. And we’ve paired our dishes with Prosecco and wines from across the boot of Italy, all sourced from Ten Green Bottles here in Brighton, as well as Italy’s favourite beer, Birra Moretti.
It’s been a steep but very enjoyable learning curve and with your help and support, we feel we have started to deliver on our aim. Brighton deserves real, authentic Italian food made from seasonal ingredients and that is what Cin Cin will continue to strive to deliver.
So grazie mille to all who have attended our pop ups so far, thank you again for your support and we look forward to seeing you at our next seasonal Supper Club.
